A Sport's Enthusiast Review of the Magazines Sporting News and Sports Illustrated

I'll talk about two of my favourite sports periodicals and why I believe they should be my top two. I will also provide a brief history of them for those who are interested.

I'll start off by talking about Sporting News.

This publication has been around ever since it first started appearing in 1886. It has 540,000 subscribers, including me. In 2008, it shifted to a biweekly publication schedule. When they switched from weekly to biweekly publication, I was at first a little irate. Even though I don't like change that much, who does? However, I can understand why they made the switch; เว็บข่าวกีฬา in order to remain competitive with other magazines, they had to update their publication schedule. Sporting News Today, a daily online newspaper, was launched in 2008 to keep the magazine current. Among the major sports they cover are Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association, the National Football League, the National Hockey League, college football and basketball, and NASCAR. In addition, they cover a wide range of other sports.

Because the articles frequently include an interview with a coach or player.

I enjoy reading them. They publish preview issues for each sports season, which I also appreciate. Just in time for the upcoming college and professional seasons, my football ones ought to arrive soon. They also publish yearbook issues on specific sports prior to the start of the season. The upcoming college and NFL seasons for these two sports are the only ones that these worries are focused on. Both the NFL and colleges are dealing with different problems. The information is extensive and includes team statistics, rosters, predictions for the upcoming season, and more. Most of the time, your local pharmacy or grocery store will carry these specialty items; if not, you can always order them from their website. Online purchases arrive in about a week after they are shipped.

My other favourite sports magazine to read is Sports Illustrated.

Sports Illustrated, in my opinion, is the most recognisable and well-known brand in the US and probably the entire world. It was founded in 1954 and has more than three million subscribers. That is a sizable amount of brand recognition, in my opinion. They are well known for both their yearly Swimsuit issue and for providing excellent sports coverage. Because of their excellent writing and in-depth coverage of various sports, SI is a publication I enjoy reading. I also anticipate reading the Point After column and getting the Sportsman of the Year issue as the year comes to a close. If you'd like to learn more about the superb sporting news coverage I value so much, pick up a copy of these fine publications.
