Traveling around the world and back again: A list of places to see again

I am one of the lucky ones. I've been all over the world. Phileas Fogg did it in 80 days, but I did it in five months with my wonderful husband. We went to beautiful countries, met new people, tried new foods, and tasted a lot of wines. Overall, it was a great trip!

Traveling around the world has never been easier than it is now.

A round-the-world (RTW) flight ticket can cost as little as £900, and depending on how you stay, you can travel the world for less than you might think. We, on the other hand, spent all of our money, but the memories of that four-month trip doing nothing and everything are more valuable than any amount of "printed paper," as my other half calls money, togel macau and I wouldn't hesitate to pack my bags and do it all over again tomorrow.

Our round-the-world ticket took us from London to Hong Kong to Macau to Bangkok to Singapore to Perth to Sydney to Christchurch to Auckland to Fiji to Los Angeles to London. We mostly went by land in Thailand and Malaysia, but we did take a few short boat rides and flights.

Thailand goes through good and bad times just like any other country. I might not be in a hurry to go back to Bangkok, Phuket, or Koh Samui, but I would love to go back to Chiang Mai, a charming town in the north.

In Malaysia, it seemed like all we did was eat.

This was one of our favourite places in Asia because there was delicious food on every corner, the people were friendly, and it was warm and humid. Penang, the Cameron Highlands, and Kuala Lumpur are all on the list of places to visit again.

Singapore is Singapore, and since it is one of the cleanest, safest, and friendliest places in Asia, I could see myself going back someday... But Orchard Street is calling your name!

Australia was our next stop, where we saw the Coral Coast and the beautiful west coast of Perth. Before moving on to see the rest of the country, we spent weeks finding new beaches, going to vineyards, and counting kangaroos. Our seven-week trip through Australia, where we visited places like Melbourne, Sydney, Cairns, and the Whitsundays, was very expensive but well worth it. I will go back if I ever win the lottery.

New Zealand is a very special place, and as soon as we landed in Christchurch, we felt like we were home. New Zealand has everything: beautiful scenery, friendly people, tasty seafood, and great wines. Yes, it's already on the list of places we want to go back to.
