Compared to most cats, the Sumatran Tiger is more aquatic.

The subspecies of tiger with the smallest extant population is the Sumatran Tiger, Panthera tigris sumatrae. Compared to the South China Tiger, it is a little smaller.

Health Isolation

The Sumatran Tigers and the mainland เว็บไทเกอร์  were split apart by rising sea levels between 6,000 and 12,000 years ago. The Sumatran Tiger is less connected to the other two mainland tigers than they are.

Swimming

The Sumatran Tiger will stand in water on hot days, just like the other subspecies. Unlike most cats, the Tiger enjoys being in the water. On the other side, the Sumatran Tiger has webbed feet and a higher affinity for water. It uses the water to get some of its food because it is a swift swimmer. The Sumatran Tiger will occasionally force a quick animal into the water when hunting in order to catch it sooner. In addition, this large cat will actually catch and consume fish.

Food

There are a wide variety of prey items that this animal will consume, including fish, deer, mice, birds, monkeys, and wild boar. It would devour an Orang-utan whole if it could capture one, but because it is more adept at climbing than the Tiger, it rarely descends to the ground. It appears that tigers do not enjoy killing and eating orang-utans.

Immediately in peril

There may be 500 to 600 wild Sumatran Tigers left in existence. The Island of Sumatra is the only location they can call home. A sizeable section of the Javanese people relocated to Sumatra during the 20th century. These people have a natural desire to cultivate land and interact with people. This is one of the factors that contributed to the loss of tigers' natural habitat.

People began to grow palm oil in the 1990s and at the start of the 21st century as a substitute for fossil fuels as they grew more expensive and as a way to try and minimise the amount of carbon dioxide entering the atmosphere. Trees, bushes, and other vegetation in the jungle are set on fire. As a result, carbon dioxide is discharged into the atmosphere. Palm oil can then be made as a result. Wild animals have fewer places to live in the interim.
